Flash Fiction Contest
Flashes of Inspiration, a 4-H writing contest that encouraged youth self-expression through the written word, was open to West Virginia 4-H members across the state. Members were asked to create original works using 1000 words or less, that would compel readers to feel, think, or take action. Participation in the competition was free, and entrants were required to submit their works by August 8, 2011. The young writers who participated in the program were provided with free books.
